GOSH Nail Care

As part of the new AW15 range, GOSH have released some amazing nail care products, for someone who paints their nails every week its so important to look after your nails and cuticles to keep them strong and healthy.

These four products are so easy to use and have so many benefits for everyone looking for gorgeous nails and a quick nail care fix.

Cuticle Oil
This has a mix of natural oils from almond, argan, jojoba and coconut and is enriched with Vitamin E. This is a must have product and I always apply this onto my nail before applying any polish. It moisturised the nails and cuticles perfectly and I love it is a non-greasy oil and absorbs so quickly.

2in1 Nail Hardener
This product ensures a strong flexible shield to protect your nails from damage as well as the nail colour. I love that it has such a beautiful gloss finish a lovely base for your nails, as a bonus its also enriched with calcium and iron for stronger looking nails.

Fast Dry Drops
This has to be one of my favourites out of the GOSH nail care range and a first for me to try, once you have applied your polish and its semi-dry, by applying one drop to each nail it speeds up the drying process and ensures your manicure is left with another coat of shine. It needs up to 60 seconds to secure the dry manicure surface but helps dry your polish in half the time. Enriched with jojoba oil (my fave!) and Vitamin E. Its now one of new loves

Gel Look Top Coat
This is a beautiful unique top coat, it adds volume and a salon pro finish to your newly painted nails. A voluminizing 'gelly' type texture covers the nails with a thick and glossy film protecting the nails leaving with a shiny and smooth finish

Bourjois' Delice de Poudre

I have only been using Bourjois Delice-de-Poudre for the past couple of days and was eager to shout about this. I have tried many bronzers, contouring kits, tube sticks from a range of different brands and little did I know my perfect bronzer was right on my door step and from a drugstore brand too!

Honestly, I have not tried any of Bourjois products (I know!) I found a lot of their products, would not suit my skin tone but I have heard much about this particular bronzer and it has also been voted Superdrug's best bronzer and we all know how much of a Superdrug lover I am so had to try it.

My first thought? I loved the packaging, I loved how it replicated a chocolate bar, the smell is also divine with its chocolate scent - a first for me! It's so creative and unique not what you would particular find in a bronzer. It is so easy to apply, and glides on with ease, the colour is very pigmented too and suited my skin perfectly, it truly gave a natural tan glow and worked perfectly as a contour to warm up the skin, I also love the shimmer it has embedded to give you that ultimate sunkissed look.

Since using this, I have abandoned my blush and wear this alone with a highlight to define certain areas of my face like my cheekbones, nose, forehead and chin and it works a treat. I am loving this natural glow look - perfect for this season.

GOSH Matte Lipsticks

If you have been following my blog or my Instagram - you will know how much in love I am with GOSH products especially their lipsticks and nail polishes - I have a previous post on their velvet touch lipsticks here

I had the opportunity to see the release of GOSH AW15 collection and it was all about their lipsticks. They have a wider range of colours - now available in matte and more different shades of pinks and reds which are absolutely gorgeous. All their lipsticks are creamy and so lovely to put on, you will instantly feel your lips are nourished and mositurised. More than anything I love each of these lipsticks are long lasting and you only need to touch up a couple of times a day if that or you can always add a clear lipgloss, I find this way helps keep the colour for longer and adds a sheen too! - I find the darker shades last a bit longer on the lips which is fabulous.

My favourites are their nudes and light pinks, I am just loving those shades for this summer and matte is perfect for this season - I know the darker shades will be lovely for the Autumn/Winter time to add colour to an outfit.

Most shades are available now and you can search their beautiful range here  the others will be available from August/September ready for Autumn - so get those purses at the ready.

Drugstore Primers

Primers have always seem to be a bit of a hit and miss for me, a lot of people around me and bloggers have had mixed reviews of primers and the impact they have on their make up. I have tried several from high end to drugstore brands and wanted to share with you my top 3 drugstore brands that are great for the skin and affordable too.

B. Prepared Make up Primer
This is a lovely primer from B. based on their lovely skincare products which I adore this was must try product for me. It's a transparent serum consistency and only a small amount is needed, it reduces the appearances of pores and truly smoothes and softens the skin, it leaves a lovely velvety feel to the skin all ready and prepped for make up.

It contains Vitamin E and Aloe Vera which are great ingredients to help contribute for a smoother looking complexion. I did find however, depending on what moisturiser is used before applying this primer, it tends to leave fluff on the skin, but all in all it made my make up last a lot longer.

GOSH Primer Plus Hydration
I have always been a huge fan of GOSH products recently and will always be a favourite drugstore of mine. This is a unique primer containing an anti-aging ingredient of snow algae it creates a youthful complexion creating a even base for make up. It has a thick cream consistency making this so easy to apply. This primer is suited for all skin types but is perfect for those with drier skin as it hydrates the skin too.

MUA Clear Primer
This is my favourite primer out of the three and the one I regularly use, this creates the ultimate perfect base for my make up it slightly mattifies the skin but still keeping it hydrated and soft. I love how it smoothes the texture of my skin creating an even base as it also helps minimise the appearance of pores. I love the consistency of the primer as it almost feels like a moisturiser and does not leave the skin feeling greasy or sticky and helps the make up last a lot longer which is what we all need for the summer. Only a small amount is needed as a little does go a long way and costing only £4 what more can you want from a primer.

I hope you get to try these primers and would love to know what you think of them, keep an eye on a future post of my top favourite high end primers too.

Maybelline Lash Sensation & Coutour/Sculpt

Lash Sensational Mascara
This is such a beautiful mascara and surprised I did not try this sooner. This truly does capture all lashes even the ones you never thought you had! This mascara not only volumises but defines the look of longer lashes. The 6 length bristles is slightly curved allowing to apply with ease, you will see instance results after the first coat, as I love long thick lashes, I apply a couple of coats to create this look, I love how you can create layers without the appearance of clumpling, not to mention the packaging is gorgeous and very chic!

This is officially my go to mascara and for a drugstore brand you will amazed with these results of intense black lashes with volume and definition.

Maybelline Face Master Sculpt
To SCULPT, DEFINE, RESHAPE, you can do this in 3 easy steps.
Step 1: Contour to define cheeks, nose, forehead
Step 2: Highlight cheekbones, bridge of nose
Step 3: Blend, blend, blend for your perfect shape.

This is a beautiful contour and highlighter. The contour part works wonders and it comes with a perfect small brush to allow you to apply easily. Due to my skin tone, I have to apply the highlighter a number of times to pick up the intensity to show up on the skin. The contour is highly pigmented and a little really does go away, and blends so easily too.

For best results:
Always start with the highlighter. and apply highlight on cheekbones, bow of the lip, centre of chin and down the nose then apply the contour on cheekbones, temples and jawline to create your perfect shape.

These products are great additions to the Maybelline family and in love with the results of both of them.
